City Councilors Lori Decter Wright, Jeannie Cue, Christian Bengel, and Jayme Fowler were at Woodland Hills Mall in District 7 for the Scheels Community Kickoff.
Scheels is an employee-owned retailer that caters to sporting and outdoor enthusiasts. They plan to hire over 500 associates at the Tulsa location.
When complete, it will have sports and outdoor attire, sporting equipment, a bowling alley, and a ferris wheel. This is the 34th Scheels location nationwide and the first one in Oklahoma.
