On January 6th, the Tulsa City Council unanimously adopted its FY 2011-12 Compendium of Needs. The Compendium is a compilation of the Council's budget and policy priorities for the upcoming fiscal year, organized broadly into eight areas that contribute to Tulsans' quality of life.
In the same meeting, the Council enacted budget measures that will provide funding for three of these priorities in the current fiscal year: eliminating employee furlough days, hiring a Planning Director, and updating the City's zoning code.
These priorities will also be reflected in the Council's consideration of next fiscal year's budget, which will be adopted in June.
