Councilors Lakin and Fowler joined City leaders to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new building located at 222 N. Detroit Avenue. The buildings boasts 11 floors and roughly 260,000 sq. feet. A total of 30,000 cubic yards of concrete and 4 million pounds of rebar were used to construct the building, which has close to 700 covered parking spaces, 245,000 square feet of office space. The building also includes bricks from the Spaghetti Warehouse that was originally at this address.
Separating the tiered structure is a tall breezeway linking Guthrie Green with John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park.
