About
Jackie spent more than twenty years as a small business owner in District 3. During that time, she took pride in the principles of neighborhood stewardship that guided her business decisions.
As a businesswoman, Jackie invested in her employees and in the neighborhood through the assistance she extended to neighbors in need as well as being one of the original participants of the Tulsa Mural Project. This initiative produced vibrant artworks in the district that embody its rich cultural landscape and expanded the ability of Tulsa to attract tourists through Route 66.
Her work for transparency and community service is a direct result of coming from a long line of driven and dynamic women. It started with values instilled by her mother, encouraging her and her sister to be curious and critical thinkers. Her mother served as an example of this through her work as an early female pioneer drafting aeronautical engineering plans.
Jackie promotes the value as District 3 as the Gateway to Tulsa, home to the international airport and the eastern stretch of our city’s Historic Route 66. She aims to work with the major industries that call the area home while elevating the voice of District 3 residents.
Jackie is also a community advocate and spends much of her time volunteering to help her neighbors. She plans to utilize her business and neighborhood connections to bring together coalitions and partnerships that will bring new opportunities and a better quality of life to District 3.
