Councilor Gilbert and the Tulsa City Council honored two police officers with a proclamation for the heroic efforts they displayed after being dispatched to a troubling situation.
On Dec. 9, Officer Brad Hill and Officer Josh Goldstein arrived at a home to find a frantic man and a woman cradling a three-pound baby. The woman had delivered the baby at home and the baby was lifeless and needed attention. With the assistance of an EMSA dispatcher, the officers resuscitated the baby. Thanks to the quick actions of Officers Hill and Goldstein, both mom and baby are healthy.
This event reminds us that Tulsa's police officers never know what they may find when dispatched to a situation.
